| Fountains at Unity Village Will "Come to Life" on September 9, 2010 |
|
| "Living in the Flow" is the theme of this year's World Day of Prayer. In addition to many other inspiring activities that day, the central courtyard fountains at Unity Village,
which have been newly reconstructed, will flow again for the first time in seven years. |
|
| The spectacular fountains and reflecting pools have been symbols of Unity's world headquarters for more than 50 years. In 2003 a portion of the fountains collapsed. A restoration fundraising campaign was launched in 2007. |
|
| To celebrate the completion of the renovation project and to thank donors, Unity will hold a community gala celebration the evening of September 9. The public is invited to enjoy an outdoor reception, which will include a musical performance by the New York ensemble Spiritus and Broadway singer Rosena M. Hill. |

| | New Website Profiles Amenities at Unity Village |
| | This month, Unity launched a new website at www.unityvillage.org to showcase the many features available to visitors on its 1,400-acre campus at Unity Village, Missouri. |
| | Established nearly 100 years ago, the Mediterranean-style Unity world headquarters offers a quiet refuge as well as transformational opportunities for body, mind and spirit. Unity classes, retreats and events provide an opportunity for guests to renew their energy and deepen their faith. |
| | Unity Village offers outdoor activities ranging from wooded walking trails to swimming and golf. The campus also includes a variety of sacred spaces, a labyrinth and indoor and outdoor chapels for people seeking quiet meditation or prayer time. |
| | In recent years, Unity Village has become a particularly popular spot for weddings, commitment ceremonies and other special occasions, given its many fountains, arches and beautifully landscaped courtyards and gardens. |
| | Guests can stay at the state-of-the-art Unity Village Hotel and Conference Center, one of the first "green" hotels in the region. |

| | 2010: The Year of the Twelve Powers |
| In September, Unity is celebrating the Power of Order. |
| | Affirmation: My life is in balance and in order, and all is well. |
| | The following excerpt is from Your God-Given Potential: Unfolding the Twelve Spiritual Powers by Winifred Wilkinson Hausmann. |
|
| "We are charged to use this ability to think, reason and choose wisely to establish an orderly growth for ourselves as God's highest creations. We do this by awakening and training our center for order. |
|
|
| Order is one of our twelve powers, an essential part of our God-given potential. To develop divine order in our lives, we must learn to cooperate with spiritual law. ...It is the secret that will make our lives happy, harmonious and balanced." |
|
| | Access music, meditations, articles and other resources about the Power of Will for August and the Power of Order for September. More information about the Power of Order will be available on September 1. |
